HP is a big proponent of
AMD processors, so it's no surprise that Turion-based
systems are a big part of the company's plans.
                                The Compaq Presario V2000 ($1,299
                                direct) is currently shipping with
the Turion ML-37. At 2 GHz, it's the
fastest-clocked Turion system we've tested yet.
With an 80GB hard drive and a DVD±RW drive, it's
a nice midrange system for the home office or
                                the back-to-school crowd.
